Why does this course exist?

Research suggests that anywhere from 62-93% of musicians will experience some sort of performance-related injury during their life. Looking at the lifestyle of musicians, it makes sense! Musicians are constantly practicing, performing in high-stress environments, sitting down for prolonged periods of time, and pushing their personal physical and mental limits. As a result, physical symptoms such as pain is sometimes unavoidable.

I've created this course with three goals in mind:

1. To teach effective tools YOU can use to overcome occasional physical symptoms including tightness, soreness, achiness, tenderness, or pain. These tools will also help manage and prevent overuse and repetitive stress injuries.

2. Help you develop and integrate a daily health and wellness routine that will help you feel mentally and physically great on and away from your instrument.

3. To create a community and bring together a group of like-minded people who want to improve their mental and physical health so they can feel and perform their best.

I came in with one goal in mind, getting rid of my shoulder knot that had been around for 6 years (it's gone now!). Working with Austin allowed me to discover the root causes of my pains while learning what gives me confidence in my body and mind. I found so much release in my heart, mind, and body.
